Last Friday, April 30th, members of Houston coalition for life and other pro-life groups came out to make their presence known outside a Planned Parenthood gala at the Corinthian Hotel celebrating the opening of their new facility here in Houston.

Friday, April 30th, an event was organized through the Greater Houston Tea local coalition for the signing of the “Contract from America”. The contract is the brainchild of Houston Tea Party Society’s Ryan Hecker and developed in a bottom-up process from the input of almost a half million americans. It is an attempt to tell congress exactly what initiatives they want to see accomplished.

The Clear Lake Tea Party is hosting a golf tournament fundraiser called “Hitting the Links for Liberty.” The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise operating capital for the CLTP in order to rent venues; buy flyers, bumper stickers, T-shirts, etc.; and purchase public advertising.

Randal O’Toole Entertains and Educates HPRA

The Houston Property Rights Association hosted Randal O’Toole last Friday at the Courtyard Restaurant in the Galleria Area. There was a very large turnout and a lunch was provided to the guest with the price of admission. The crowd included those who were known local conservative activists, but also included people who wore “Green Party” pins.

On the morning of Saturday, March 27th, around 100 local activists met in the parking lot of Holy Rosary Parish to prepare for a “Mini-March”. Organized by Kin Muncy, the “The March of the Surviving Youth” was to remember the third of this generation killed or effected by abortion.

This worthy cause captured my attention. The Road Show illustrates the journey of two young women taking a road trip from Houston to New York City. The women taking this cause on the road are Aimee Woodall and Jayme Lamm. They are the Road Show Blondes. Aimee and Jayme are raising the awareness of suicide prevention.

David versus Goliath conclusion

David Allen faced the State of Texas bravely and was able to articulate to the jurors and multiple Planned Parenthood employees that God loved them. Due to the uniqueness of the trial the room was filled with District Attorneys who also heard that God loved them.
